| This costume was one of our first forays into using spandex. Mandy based her design on the comic book version. |
| The wings were actually angel wings, with seagull feathers added, and she wore them upside down for a more dramatic effect. The boots were red knee-length boots which were painted with the yellow claws. We found red, green and red spandex, and then used gray-silver satin for the accent on the top. The belt was yellow leather with a belt buckle Justen made using his glue-gun technique |
| Justen sculpted the helmet and axe head from clay, cast those in Plaster of Paris, and then filled the molds with melted glue gun. He painted them with acrylics and air-brushed the darker details on the helmet. |
